Who we are
MJM Technology Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17059560). We provide managed IT support and technology services to businesses. Our registered office is in St Helens, Merseyside. For questions about this policy, contact us at hello@mjm.technology.
What information we collect
We collect the following personal data when you use our website:
- Contact form: your name, email address, company name, and the message you send us
- Get a Quote form: your name, email address, company name, number of users and devices, and information about the services you are interested in
- Website usage data: pages visited, time on site, approximate location (country/region), and device/browser type — collected anonymously via Google Analytics
We do not collect payment card details or any sensitive personal data.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry or provide you with a tailored quote
- To communicate with you about services you have expressed interest in
- To understand how our website is used and improve it over time
We will never sell your data, share it for marketing purposes with third parties, or use it for automated decision-making.
Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries you have sent us and to provide services you have requested
- Legitimate interests — to understand website usage and improve our service
Who we share your data with
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate our website. Each acts as a data processor under our instruction:
- Web3Forms — processes form submissions and delivers them to our email inbox. Data is transmitted securely and not retained by Web3Forms beyond delivery.
- Google Analytics — collects anonymised usage data. IP addresses are anonymised. See Google's privacy policy for details of how they handle this data.
- Cloudflare — hosts our website and processes traffic. Cloudflare may log connection data for security and performance purposes.
We do not share your data with any other third parties.
How long we keep your data
- Enquiry data received via our forms is retained in our email inbox for up to 2 years, after which it is deleted
- Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months in accordance with our Analytics settings
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data where there is no legitimate reason to retain it
- Restriction — ask us to restrict how we use your data
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests

Cookies
Our website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to distinguish users and track sessions. These are analytics cookies only. We do not use advertising, targeting, or third-party marketing cookies.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
